You can have as little as one single webpage or you can have one hundred web pages. The sky is the limit. It all depends on the what your goals are and the information you want to provide to the public, your fans, and your customers.

Website Design Package

The cost for this service is $149.00. What we will do is set up accounts for you on Amazon, Blogger, FaceBook (both a profile page and a fan page), Twitter, Flickr, Shelfari, GoodReads, and LibraryThing. Interaction with fans and the public is up to you, but we’ll get you started and ready to go.

Social Media Marketing Package

With our “Press Release” option we will create a press release specifically designed around you and your book and distribute it through a variety of online networks. The cost for this service is $149.00.

Press Release Package

(FOR REVIEWS PRIOR TO PUBLICATION) - Because many book reviewers will not accept books unless they come from a publisher we offer our “Book Review Package”. The cost for this service is $399.00 and we will submit your book, along with a letter of submission, to ten top reviewers, including the New York Times, Kirkus Reviews and Publishers Weekly. Reviewers do not guarantee that they will review the book, but we make every effort to encourage their review. We can promise that we will present the book for review.

(FOR REVIEWS AFTER PUBLICATION) - We will submit your book to ten area newspapers and/or magazines around your hometown. Simply supply us with the organizations and the contacts and addresses and we will compose a cover letter and send that along with a complimentary copy of the book requesting their review. The cost for this service is $249.00. Again, we cannot guarantee that they will review the book, but we make every effort to encourage their review. We can promise that we will present the book for review.

Writing a book is a major accomplishment, but promoting it can feel like an even bigger challenge! That’s why Straight Up Marketing provides a line of service specifically for authors. Our experience in the publishing industry, combined with expertise in marketing and public relations, gives us a unique insight into book promotion. For one low price, we’ll collaborate with you, create new opportunities to publicize your book, and help you to grow your audience. Included in this one low price is an author interview (an in-depth survey to determine the best ways to promote your book – and you), an author bio (a 2-3 paragraph biography positioning you properly for your readership), a press release (a “hometowner” about your book, submitted to the media in your hometown), publicity (phone calls to media and other groups of interest to discuss promotional opportunities) and recommendations (additional opportunities to connect with your audience and grow your readership). The price of this service is $299.00.
